No matter where you’re at in your career, job searching is always hard. Whether you’re trying to write the perfect resume or make sure your starting salary isn’t too low, it can be difficult to know if you’re making the right decisions.
That’s not even taking into account planning for your long-term future. If you’re not qualified for your dream job or you need to make more than an entry-level salary, your hunt needs to focus on finding a job that will help you meet those goals.
At Adecco, we want to empower job seekers to find the perfect opportunity – one that meets their needs and their future plans. Our associates have access to a number of free job search and career planning tools to help them get there.
Our free job search tools
Resume maker
Creating a new resume can be one of the most stressful and time consuming parts of applying for a job. From writing it to organizing and designing it, you can easily find yourself overwhelmed.
Our AI resume maker tool helps you quickly create a new resume. Supporting more than 50 different languages, the AI resume tool allows you to use your phone or computer microphone to speak about your previous jobs and responsibilities. The tool then adds additional details and smooths over the language, final formatting everything into a resume design template of your choosing.”
Adecco Salary Calculator
Knowing whether your salary is competitive isn’t easy, even with growing pressure for more pay transparency in job descriptions. While you can do a quick internet search and get an idea of what the pay rate should be for a certain role, usually you’ll only be able to find a rough average or a broad range of salaries.
With our Salary Calculator, we make it easy for you to have the right information. Quickly see the average annual salary for your state and for the size of the company you’re applying to.
Adecco app
Through the Adecco app, our associates and other job seekers can more easily search and apply to jobs. You can create a candidate profile with your resume or work history – and let recruiters know that you’re available for a new assignment.
Also, once you’re on assignment, you can use the app to quickly access paychecks, direct deposits, W-2 elections, and other work notifications. Did we mention the app is available is both English and Spanish?
Our free career planning tools
Aspire Academy
We love to brag about the Aspire Academy. Our associates can choose from more than 3,000 courses covering subjects as diverse as management and leadership, workplace safety, industrial print reading, and Microsoft Office. As an added bonus, you can earn digital badges for completions and some courses count towards continued professional education (CPE) credits.
All of the classes are free and available 24/7, so it’s up to you to decide when and where you study. We have countless success stories of associates who took the initiative and changed their career paths.
High school equivalency test prep
Not having a high school equivalency can hold your career back in ways that are both big and small. In fact, nearly 40% of all jobs in the US require one. That’s why we partner with The Adecco Group US Foundation to offer our associates access to its High School Equivalency Program.
At no cost, you can take online coursework – on your own schedule – and prepare for the HiSET exam, an alternative to a US high school diploma.
Find a job easier with us
At Adecco, we believe that technology should make the job process easier – not harder. In our opinion, there’s too many employers relying solely on AI and screening software, while real, talented people are getting lost in the application process.
Centering people in the job process is a core value for Adecco. We recently launched a partnership with Microsoft to build and test Career Co-Pilot, a GenAI-powered platform, to support workers throughout their career journey.
