Our client, a global house of iconic brands, was running their own internship and apprenticeship program through their Talent Acquisition (TA) department for years.

Due to the program’s success, every year the number of applicants grew, and with an ever-increasing intern class size, the lengthy onboarding process was taking its toll on the team.

For eight years Adecco partnered with our client, with proven success in other placement categories and strong presence in the market, so our client decided to leverage our expertise to have us handle the onboarding process for the students.

These internship opportunities spread across an array of skill sets including:

• Merchandising
• Retail operations
• Retail buying
• UX design
• Global environments/architecture
• Communications
• HR

Our client's additional fashion and design positions with its luxury brands are categorized as an apprenticeship due to a uniquely designed curriculum and intense program.

To curate a better experience, we created a smaller class size to concentrate efforts on retaining and hiring as many interns and apprentices as possible.

The onboarding process now consists of new hire paperwork, background checks, laptop distribution, brand email access, and participation in both internship and mentor orientations. Once onboarding is complete, we manage the timekeeping and meal reimbursements for the students.
