Adecco Vietnam recently joined as a leading corporate partner in The Career Day 2023 "Re-imagining the Future of Talent" organised by VinUniversity in Hanoi with the attendance of many freshly graduated bachelors

At the event, Adecco had a wonderful opportunity to engage with students, discuss about professional working environments and internship opportunities. This enables us to build a network with a large audience of academics, enhance brand visibility within the student community and support students in their early career stages.
In the recent Career Talk #2: "Work Etiquette", VinUnians had the chance to listen to guest expert – Ms. Phuong Nguyen, Recruitment Director of Adecco Hanoi - a leading recruitment company in Vietnam. They were able to learn about how to communicate effectively and work with self-discipline in a corporate environment, as well as methods to improve those skills
.
Ms. Phuong introduced 5 essential soft skills of the 21st century, including Communication and Negotiation; Interpersonal and empathy; Leadership and management; Entrepreneurship and creativity; Adaptability and continuous learning. At the talk, she emphasized that communication skills are most important, not only in business but also in other aspects of life. She believes that the ability to communicate well not only brings many benefits to life, work and relationships, but also helps us create trust and inspire people.
The speaker also encouraged students to practice discipline every day, because this habit would help form a professional work etiquette, thereby giving future employers a good impression

Also during the session, VinUni students asked the speaker about how to communicate more effectively between GenZ and previous generations, how to influence others, and how to achieve work-life balance
