As a System FPGA & Hardware Engineer / Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and bringing up FPGA solutions for prototyping and link partner platforms to enable seamless system-level integration.
· Key responsibilities in your new role
o Architect and implement FPGA solutions for prototyping platforms and link partner platforms.
o Develop and maintain the complete FPGA build flow, including simulation, synthesis, P&R, timing closure, bitstream generation, and regression.
o Integrate FPGA logic with embedded software, drivers, and host interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, UART, SPI, and I2C.
o Drive the bring-up of FPGA platforms, including board-level testing, power-on sequencing, clocking/reset strategy, and peripheral enablement.
o Perform comprehensive system-level debugging to ensure platform stability and performance.
o Document platform architecture, integration guides, and best practices to enable internal users and downstream teams.
· Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
o Strong FPGA development experience using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and/or VHDL.
o Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Synplify.
o Proven experience with verification and debugging, including simulation (e.g., VCS or ModelSim), testbenches, assertions, and on-chip debug tools.
o Scripting and automation experience using Python or Tcl to improve build flows and overall productivity.
