Head Accounting & Finance

Job purpose: Head of Finance & Accounting is responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing cost control, and delivering accurate financial reporting to support business.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with the Accounting Practitioner Certificate.
• At least 8 years experience in accounting, with 3 years same role from Manufacturing company, accounting firms working experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS, state policies, laws, provisions and regulation.
• Strong experience in costing, tax compliance, tax refund, and financial consolidation
• Knowledge of ERP (Oracle, SAP, Dynamic...), proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken). 

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the general ledgers and all related accounts.
• Maintaining other accounts and performing other accounting duties as required.
• Oversee product costing and ensure accurate cost allocation (materials, labor, overhead)
• Monitor and analyze cost variances; propose cost optimization solutions.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to control manufacturing costs.
• Manage all tax reports (VAT, CIT, WHT...) and submit them to Tax Department.
• Tax reduction and exemption of tax application.
• Handle tax refund procedures and documentation.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget vs actual performance and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Manage consolidated financial statements for the group.
• Working with annual audit.
• Working with Tax inspection and state agencies.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team
• Improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
• Preparing Accounting reports according to Vietnam law.
• Participating in the management of company registration, registration alteration, factory registration, business registration, and other alteration subjects
