Finance & Accounting Assistant Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting for our healthcare client.

Key requirements:

1. Years of practical experience in accounting or audit field.
2. Years of demonstrated experience in internal controls, with working knowledge of VAS compliance and tax regulations in Vietnam (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT).
3. Chief Accountant Certification is a must.
4. Experience in preparing and presenting P&L analysis to management or relevant stakeholders.
5. Experience in business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
6. High attention to detail with a structured, accuracy-driven approach. Proficiency in accounting software & MS Excel.
7. Proficient in English language, both written and verbal.
8. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage monthly, quarterly closing and prepare annual financial statements. Perform variance analysis, and support management in strategic decision-making.
2. Ensure adherence to Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax regulations. Manage internal controls, risk management, and regulatory filings to ensure compliance and governance for the organization.
3. Oversee transaction processing, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and cash flow management.
4. Act as primary liaison for internal audit and external audit to ensure proper corporate governance and avoid any violation of related regulations.
5. Preparation of annual budgets, quarterly financial forecasts and monthly estimate.
6. Take ownership of ad-hoc projects and assignments delegated by the Line Manager, contributing to department & business objectives.
