In the third phase of a new client transition, we moved more than 90% of 1,400 associates to Adecco within 8 days.

Full story:

Following a 20-year relationship with a previous supplier, our client, a large national retailer, needed several sites transitioned to Adecco’s Master Vendor Program (MVP) and onsite solution.

As we entered the third phase of this transition, we took previous lessons learned and prioritized:

  • Providing regular updates to leadership
  • Training onsite supervisors and recruiters on client processes and job functions ahead of day one
  • Assimilating to our client’s culture
  • Communicating our extensive health benefits and perks to new associates

During this phase, our team worked across five buildings at our client’s California location, providing transparency for client leadership and floor managers. To conduct 30-minute transition meetings, 34 Adecco colleagues were present on site five days a week for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

To minimize disruptions to workflow, we provided advanced communication for both supervisors and workers on documentation requirements and scheduling to complete associate paperwork efficiently. We also focused on our client and associate needs, including providing translation services, preserving tenure, and highlighting our associate benefits.

We easily met our four-week timeline, making for a smooth transition for our associates and our client, with associate fall off directly impacted by ineligible workers and those who opted out of transition eligibility requirements.
