Case Study: Outshining the competition during the annual peak season

For its 2020 peak season, a new client brought on Adecco as the primary vendor for a new overnight weekend shift. We filled picker/packer, materials handler, and other entry-level roles for the Dallas location of this leader in logistics and shipping. 

 

 

The new overnight weekend shift was originally planned just for its holiday season. Due in part to Adecco’s high fill rates, our client decided to keep the shift year-round with us as the slot’s primary vendor. Following our second peak hiring season, the client recognized Adecco with an award for the highest fill rate among its vendors.

 

 

In 2022, we expanded to being the primary vendor for an additional shift and were able to decrease turnover from the previous year. We also began serving another location.

The key to our success? Adecco’s onsite team took a hands-on approach, handling critical HR responsibilities, from the big (employee engagement, coaching, and counseling) to the small (timesheets and clocking in correctly).
