Every client needs an individualized staffing solution. However, the right strategy needs to evolve.
At Adecco, when the numbers stop adding up, that’s when we regroup and try something new.
After 5 years of staffing and managing suppliers for our client, a multinational and multi-industry conglomerate, we realized that our Master Vendor Program (MVP) solution was still struggling to address critical issues:
- Rogue spend
- Poor communication
- Slow turnaround and cycle times
- Too many suppliers
Our team decided to make a change – and start over. We conducted surveys to better understand their operations. Our goal was to design programs that aligned with each of their individual lines of business.
A new, hand-picked team to introduced white-glove service to our client, and our MSP team tapped other Adecco resources, including:
- PMO team to manage orders, from initial request to onboarding
- Solutions Design to investigate the current program and identify what wasn’t working
- Permanent Recruitment to handle direct hire needs
- A team from our sister company Akkodis specializing in filling engineering roles
- A team from our sister company Entegee to fill welder roles
Within 12 months, we were awarded “Dream Team” status by our client.
We focused on creating a clear strategy with the defined goals and expectations needed to be successful. We educated our client and suppliers on processes and timelines that would streamline operations, stop rogue spend, and reduce delivery time and costs.
Most importantly, we rebuilt our client’s trust.
Saving about $1 million annually after Adecco consolidated their vendors
As of 2023, 74 of its 76 locations use Adecco as their staffing partner, and we took over the client’s payrolling needs, and our NPS score jumped 15 points from 2022.
