The COVID-19 pandemic left many retailers struggling to forecast their holiday season. Every year, one of our long-time clients needed an additional 1,500 temp workers to prepare for the Black Friday and Christmas surge. Even though the volume hits in November, we begin hiring in October to ensure we have a trained team when orders increase. During these low volume weeks, temp workers are only getting 18-20 hours weekly, leading to high turnover.
