When Adecco signed on to our client’s Orlando location in 2006, we transitioned many of its current temp workers to Adecco. In the 10-plus years since, our on-site team has stepped not only into the role as floor supervisors – but also as community builders.

The site has the hallmarks of hard-to-fill openings: a non-climate-controlled facility in Florida, mostly overnight shifts, and inconsistent hours thanks to the client’s day-labor model.

Instead of a constant churn of temp workers to manage – our on-site team built relationships with our associates and our client. We created a community-centered atmosphere, making sure associates stay hydrated during hot days, providing hot cocoa and coffee on cold ones, and hosting once-a-week (if not more) events.

As a result, turnover is low and predictable year over year, and our site has been taking overflow work from nearby client locations.
