A long-time client of Adecco had several events coming up in four different cities: Atlanta, Portland, Sacramento, and Washington D.C. Adecco had 4 weeks before the first show to fill 7 weeks of part-time roles.
The temp positions were very different, from ushers to box office attendants, and wardrobe to chefs. Our customer also required the ability to adjust headcount within a few hours of each shift.
To fill them, Adecco utilized its proven plan for staffing short-term events, taking a curated approach and establishing onsite teams in each city.
We also made sure adequately trained backups were available to meet the changing demand – and met headcount by 135%.
As with most contingent event staffing, we didn’t know the number of potential job candidates available in each market until after we started recruiting.
However, following our own best practices – including daily calls with the client and weekly reporting – we reached 100% fulfillment across every site.
