Welder

Adecco is hiring experienced Welders for a leading steel fabrication facility in Haltom City, TX- multiple shifts available. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, repairing, and welding steel components according to engineering specifications and production requirements. Successful candidates will be safety-minded, quality-focused, and capable of consistently producing UT-passable welds while meeting production goals.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties using wire welding equipment

• Weld steel components according to blueprints, layouts, engineering drawings, and work orders

• Perform flat and horizontal welds

• Fabricate parts using fixtures, jigs, and hand layouts

• Assist fitters and other welders with fabrication of multi-component assemblies

• Inspect and repair welds to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings

• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, grinders, cutting torches, and related equipment

• Measure and inspect materials using gauges, templates, and straightedges

• Maintain equipment and work areas in safe working condition

• Meet daily production and quality expectations

• Cross-train and assist with additional manufacturing tasks as needed

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of welding experience required

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Experience with flux core and metal core welding

• Experience operating overhead and jib cranes preferred

• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and welding symbols

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift

• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and lifting

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures

• Must wear required PPE, including welding hood and protective equipment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
