Position Overview

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting a Weld Tech Machine Operator for a second-shift, temp-to-hire opportunity in Suffield, Connecticut.

This position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and workstations to produce components that meet established quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have previous high-volume manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive production work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production workstations.
• Run high-volume, repetitive production jobs.
• Load production tooling onto manufacturing systems.
• Select and recall the appropriate machine programs.
• Load and unload materials and completed components.
• Monitor equipment throughout the production process.
• Inspect finished products for quality and conformance with specifications.
• Complete required production documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Notify supervisors of equipment, production, or quality issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years of high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous machine-operating or production experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties required in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $18.50 per hour
