Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Washlab Technician to join our team in Trumbull, CT! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is mechanically inclined, and is interested in learning about laundry product testing.

This is not a research position. The technician will assist with routine laundry product performance testing, operate washing and drying equipment, prepare test materials, and maintain an organized laboratory environment. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry product performance testing, including stain removal and fabric softening.

• Follow established standard operating procedures for washing, drying, staining, and test preparation.

• Prepare test materials, including labeling fabrics and towels and applying stains.

• Operate laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and automated systems.

• Ensure stains and test materials are prepared accurately and meet quality standards.

• Collect, organize, and compile test data for scientists to review and analyze.

• Communicate with internal teams regarding testing requirements and specifications.

• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies.

• Keep the wash lab clean, organized, and safe.

• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply!

• No college degree or previous laboratory experience required.

• Knowledge of basic laboratory practices is a plus.

• Mechanically inclined and comfortable operating equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
