Warehouse Associate

Location: Machesney Park, IL
Pay: $21/ per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (flexible start time of 7:30 or 8:00 AM for the right candidate)

Adecco is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker for a company in Machesney Park, IL! This position involves picking small parts using a pick list and scanner, verifying order accuracy, and entering information into a computer system. Attention to detail is critical, as accurate data entry is used to generate customer invoices.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organized, detail-oriented work and is looking for a long-term position. The goal is to hire the right candidate on permanently after approximately six months, with a pay increase upon hire-in.

Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders using provided pick lists and a scanner.

• Verify item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities for accuracy.

• Use a weighing/counting scale to verify quantities of small parts.

• Accurately enter item numbers and processed orders into the customer’s computer system.

• Perform daily cycle counts as assigned.

• Place picked parts into totes for delivery to Woodward.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the order fulfillment process.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter and distinguish between similar eight-character item numbers.

• Basic math skills to verify quantities and counts.

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.

• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.

• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently.

Work Environment:

• No specialized equipment operation required.

• No special PPE required.

• Approximately six hours per shift spent standing or walking and two hours at a desk.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
