This Warehouse Associate position is based on site in Glenwood, IL, working full time Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role is a temporary assignment with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance and business needs. The position focuses on core warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and safe equipment operation. The successful candidate will use sit-down forklifts and RF scanners, perform cycle counts, and handle heavy lifting as part of daily activities. This role suits a candidate with at least one year of warehouse experience who can maintain an organized, clean work area and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

What You Will Do?
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently, handling palletized materials, loading and unloading, and moving products within designated warehouse areas.
Use an RF scanner to complete tasks such as picking, packing, put-away, and inventory updates while maintaining accurate and timely data entry.
Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying documentation, checking quantities, and staging materials in the correct locations for processing.
Conduct cycle counts regularly to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and support accurate inventory management practices within the warehouse.
Lift and move heavy materials as required, following safety procedures and proper lifting techniques to reduce the risk of injury and product damage.
Maintain an organized and clean work area by following housekeeping standards, disposing of waste properly, and keeping aisles and storage areas clear.
Handle multiple tasks during the shift, prioritizing assignments, responding to changing needs, and coordinating with team members and supervisors.
Your Skills
Demonstrated forklift operation skills, specifically with sit-down forklifts, including safe maneuvering, stacking, and handling of various palletized loads.
Practical warehouse logistics experience, including understanding of material flow, staging areas, and the coordination of shipping and receiving operations.
Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse environment, including proper use of equipment, personal protective equipment, and adherence to safety rules.
Inventory management capabilities, including experience with cycle counts, RF scanners, stock rotation, and accurate documentation of product movements.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly with coworkers and supporting shared goals across different warehouse functions.
Sufficient physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform heavy lifting throughout the shift while maintaining consistent productivity levels.
Ability to communicate in English, including reading work instructions, safety information, and basic documentation relevant to daily warehouse tasks.
At least one year of prior warehouse experience, demonstrating familiarity with typical processes, equipment, and operational expectations in similar environments.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
