Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnered with a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer in Warren, MA to hire Supply Chain Expeditors. This position helps keep materials moving by following up with suppliers, monitoring outstanding purchase orders, identifying potential shortages, and coordinating with internal teams to support production.

This is not a traditional Buyer role. The focus is on communication, organization, persistent follow-up, and keeping existing orders on track rather than negotiating pricing or sourcing new suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers regarding material status, delivery dates, and outstanding commitments.

• Monitor open purchase orders and update expected delivery dates within the ERP/MRP system.

• Identify late or at-risk materials and escalate potential shortages before they impact production.

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Production, Program Management, and other internal teams.

• Track outstanding action items and maintain accurate supplier and delivery information.

• Build strong supplier relationships while professionally pushing for answers and commitments.

• Support supplier performance tracking and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, manufacturing operations, customer service, inside sales, account management, or a related field.

• ERP/MRP experience strongly preferred; IFS, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar.

• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

• Persistent and comfortable making frequent outbound calls.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and escalate issues appropriately.

• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

• U.S. citizenship required.

Direct expediting, aerospace, defense, and ITAR experience are not required. Candidates with strong customer service or sales backgrounds who want to transition into Supply Chain are encouraged to apply.
 

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
