Supply Chain Coordinator

Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Coordinator for a temporary opportunity with our client in Irvine, CA. Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Rate: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hybrid work schedule available)

As a Supply Chain Coordinator with Adecco, you will play a key role in managing daily supply chain activities, including inventory oversight, logistics coordination, purchasing, and data analysis. Your efforts will help prevent stock shortages or surpluses, ensure timely deliveries, and support process improvements that enhance overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.

• Monitor stock levels and collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory.

• Track inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee on-time delivery and resolve any delivery discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including purchase orders, shipping records, and supply chain data.

• Communicate proactively with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to manage order status, delivery schedules, and supply issues.

• Generate reports to analyze supply chain trends and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Support forecasting and demand planning activities with accurate inventory data.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, or purchasing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP or supply chain management software.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as APICS/ASCM, CSCP, or CPIM.

• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments.

• Knowledge of transportation management and supply chain best practices.

Physical and Work Environment:

• Ability to sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods.

• Occasional visits to warehouse or production areas; lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.

• Combines office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments with a hybrid work schedule.

• Regular business hours, with occasional overtime to support operational needs.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour
