Supply Center Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, during normal business hours

Position Overview

We are seeking a Supply Center Specialist to support an on-site scientific supply center in Cincinnati, OH. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, retail, sales, laboratory, or inventory experience to work directly with scientists, lab managers, and procurement teams.

The Supply Center Specialist will be responsible for maintaining inventory, supporting customers, keeping the supply center organized and fully stocked, and helping identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to scientists, lab managers, and procurement teams.

• Build strong customer relationships and respond quickly to product questions and supply needs.

• Manage daily inventory, including receiving, unpacking, stocking, rotating, and auditing products.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure products are available when customers need them.

• Keep the Supply Center organized, professional, and consistent with company branding standards.

• Identify customer needs, product opportunities, and purchasing trends.

• Support product demonstrations, product shows, seminars, and other customer engagement events.

• Communicate customer feedback, trends, and competitive information to commercial teams.

• Use internal systems to manage orders, monitor usage, and support timely replenishment.

• Complete required training and assist with onboarding and training new team members.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, sales, research & development, inventory, or a related field

• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills

• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to quickly understand customer needs and provide solutions

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field

Working Conditions

• Work is performed during normal business hours to align with customer and delivery schedules.

• Daily travel by car to and from account locations may be required; mileage is reimbursed.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

• May be required to stand for extended periods.

• Training will be provided.

Compensation

$23.00 per hour

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in customer service, retail, inventory, sales, laboratory support, or scientific environments who enjoys working directly with customers and managing day-to-day operations.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
