Stock Clerk

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and organized Stock Clerk to join our clients team. The Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory while ensuring stockroom operations remain accurate, efficient, and organized. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory-controlled environment and possess strong organizational and computer skills.
This role requires the ability to safely handle materials, maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and support internal departments by ensuring timely availability of parts and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, and assign appropriate storage locations.
Stock shelves, bins, and racks while ensuring materials are properly labeled and organized.
Issue parts for production kits and fulfill stores requisitions, verifying part numbers, quantities, and inventory transactions.
Maintain inventory accuracy and promptly report discrepancies to management.
Monitor and replenish Min/Max inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy.
Assist in annual physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities.
Move materials between departments or coordinate transportation as needed.
Handle all materials safely while following company safety procedures, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) requirements, and material handling guidelines.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment.
Utilize ERP systems, scanners, and inventory management tools to process inventory transactions.
Support team members in locating parts and materials efficiently.
Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, or related environment.
Experience with inventory management and stock control processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
Experience using ERP systems, inventory software, and barcode scanning technology.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret inventory reports, requisitions, kit pulls, and procedural documents.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
Knowledge of inventory control best practices and materials management procedures.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.
Ability to frequently bend, squat, reach, climb ladders, and move materials throughout the workday.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and follow all safety procedures.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
