Stitching Technician

Adecco is hiring experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operators/Stitchers for a full-time opportunity in Brockton, MA. Pay

• $20.00 per hour
• 90-day introductory and review period

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday
• 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Enjoy a 4-day work week with Fridays off

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain industrial sewing machines
• Read and interpret job tickets and work orders to understand production requirements
• Adjust machine components, including stitcher heads, gatherers, pockets, and trimmers to meet product specifications
• Ensure products meet customer quality standards and delivery deadlines
• Inspect finished materials for defects and maintain quality throughout production
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support efficient workflow
• Monitor and track department thread inventory
• Perform basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial or commercial sewing machines in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand work orders, specifications, and design schematics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to adjust sewing techniques and stitch types as needed
• Experience threading machines, changing bobbins, adjusting tension settings, and performing minor repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and complete routine maintenance
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
