Responsibilities for Senior Financial Analyst include but are not limited to:

·       Support the organization's general ledger accounting and financial reporting functions by ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial information.

·       Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to develop meaningful, concise analyses and recommendations while considering interconnected business and financial factors.

·       Identify financial trends, variances, risks, and potential issues through detailed analysis of financial statements and accounting data.

·       Maintain the general ledger by accurately recording financial transactions and ensuring timely updates.

·       Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.

·       Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.

·       Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company accounting policies, reporting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and reporting activities. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting operations, increase efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.

·       Support automation efforts and analytical tool adoption to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities.

·       Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and decision-support materials to management and business stakeholders.

·       Train and coach finance users on analytical tools, system enhancements, and best practices while addressing system-related issues identified by business partners.

·       Work effectively across departments and business units to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.

·       Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Candidates for Senior Financial Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·       CPA designation preferred.

·       Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience.

·       Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

·       Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.

·       Experience working with SAP ERP systems.

·       Experience using the BlackLine reconciliation platform.

Pay Details: $39.29 per hour
