About the Role:
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for a P&L that spans across several key areas of the business. This role includes weekly capital and expense tracking, reporting, budget and forecast planning, monthly/yearly accruals, accounts payable reconciliation, 5-year planning and ad-hoc analyses. This role is also responsible for aggregating and reporting expense and capital expenditures for the Corporate Purchasing team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will report into Corporate Purchasing, with high visibility and engagement with Directors, VP/SVP. This position will have frequent opportunities to interact and present to multiple suppliers, internal stakeholders, and executive management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead monthly forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes for operating expenses and capital investments.
Analyze and monitor organizational spending, providing variance analysis, financial insights, and executive-level reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, forecasts, accruals, and month-end close activities.
Manage financial systems and data integrity, including budget setup, reporting validation, and reconciliation between planning and ERP systems.
Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop budgets, optimize spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve financial performance.
Support capital investment planning, including Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), asset management, and project financial oversight.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and develop presentations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and provide financial guidance on procurement, expense management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
3-5 years of financial planning, forecasting, or analysis experience; retail, supply chain, or operations finance experience preferred.
Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas; experience with financial systems and reporting tools is a plus.
Proven ability to prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and financial summaries.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leadership levels.
Additional Details:
Work hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Hybrid work model – onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Parking: On-campus parking available.
Environment: Business casual dress code.

Pay Details: $55.00 per hour
