Shipping & Receiving Clerk 

Location: Brookfield, CT Area 
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Adecco is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an immediate Direct Hire opportunity with a respected manufacturing company in the Brookfield, Connecticut area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable warehouse professional who enjoys a hands-on role and is looking for long-term career stability. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, shortages, and damage 

• Operate a forklift to transport materials and inventory throughout the facility 

• Prepare outbound shipments according to customer specifications and shipping requirements 

• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently 

• Provide accurate shipping weights and dimensions to support customer orders 

• Unpack and stock materials into inventory locations 

• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities 

• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving area 

Qualifications 

• 3 to 5 years of recent Shipping & Receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment 

• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred 

• Forklift certification with at least 1 to 2 years of recent operating experience required 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 

• Reliable work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
