In this position, you will help drive operational excellence by maintaining shipping accuracy, coordinating freight and parcel shipments, supporting warehouse operations, and delivering outstanding service through efficient order fulfillment. What You'll Do
Order Fulfillment & Shipping
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders, warehouse transfers, and batch orders for shipment.
Verify order accuracy and ensure all documentation is complete.
Stage orders for local delivery, transfers, will-call pickups, and ship-complete requests.
Coordinate deliveries with drivers and transportation partners.
Package shipments to ensure products arrive safely and securely.
Process shipments through various parcel and freight carriers according to customer specifications.
Generate shipping labels, return labels, and required shipping documentation.
Prepare commercial invoices and supporting documents for international shipments.
Verify payment status and shipping authorization requirements before releasing orders.
Provide shipping quotes for small parcel shipments when needed.
Warehouse Operations
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shipping and staging areas.
Keep assigned warehouse aisles and pick locations organized and efficient.
Assemble and prepare shipments for third-party carriers.
Monitor shipping supply inventory and request replenishment as needed.
Maintain packaging equipment and materials to support daily operations.
Develop effective packaging solutions to ensure product protection during transit.
Quality & Compliance
Follow customer-specific shipping instructions and company procedures.
Ensure all shipments meet quality standards and accuracy requirements.
Handle mis-picked, canceled, or returned orders according to established processes.
Follow all safety procedures, work schedules, and operational guidelines.
Assist with warehouse projects and operational needs as requested by management.
Support daily opening and closing responsibilities, including securing the facility and equipment.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least one year of shipping, warehouse, logistics, or related experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to read and understand shipping documents, instructions, and correspondence.
Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management in both one-on-one and group settings.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Work Environment
The Shipping Clerk works closely with warehouse leadership, receiving personnel, drivers, and other warehouse team members to ensure the timely and accurate movement of products. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, collaborating with others, and contributing to the success of daily operations.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
