Senior CNC Machinist

Adecco is partnering with a small, established R&D machine shop in North Billerica to hire an experienced Senior Machinist.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can work from a drawing and take a job through programming, setup, and machining. The shop operates with a small team, so this is a good fit for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems and wearing multiple hats rather than being limited to one part of the machining process.

To be considered, candidates must have hands-on HAAS milling machine experience and be capable of programming, setting up and running jobs — not simply operating established programs.

Location: Billerica, MA

Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist

Pay Range:  $35 - $50 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week Monday – Friday

Job Type: Temp to permanent

 

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate HAAS machining centers

• Work from blueprints, drawings and electronic files

• Set up and run jobs from start to finish with minimal assistance

• Use Mastercam for programming

• Determine tooling, fixturing, speeds, feeds and machining operations

• Create and document setup/operating procedures

• Support ProtoTRAK machining and light assembly as needed

• Produce R&D and short-run production components

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience preferred

• Hands-on HAAS programming and setup experience required

• Mastercam milling experience required

• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation

• Ability to independently set up, and run machining jobs

• Comfortable working in a small-shop, hands-on environment

Pay Details: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour
