Dermatology Medical Assistant (2-Week Assignment – Scarsdale)

Location, Schedule & Pay:

• Location: Scarsdale Office

• Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Duration: 2-week temporary assignment 8/31-9/11

• Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 / hour

Role Overview: We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant with Dermatology experience to support our Scarsdale clinic for a 2-week coverage role. Fast-track clearance process to get you scheduled right away.

Key Requirements:

• Prior Dermatology experience is required.

• Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.

• MA Certification is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Documentation: Accurately scribe patient encounters in real time within the EMR.

• Specimen Handling: Assist in the collection, labeling, and preparation of biopsy/lab specimens.

• Provider & Patient Support: Liaison between providers and patients regarding care plans, medication refills, and follow-ups.

• Triage & Communication: Monitor and respond to patient, pharmacy, and clinic messages.

• Daily Operations: Assist with inventory counts, patient flow, and clinical customer service.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
