Sawyers (Lumber/Plywood) – 2 Positions

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA
Pay: $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Sawyers to join our manufacturing team in Peachtree Corners, GA. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience working with lumber and plywood in a manufacturing environment and be skilled in operating various saws and cutting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Panel Saws, Beam Saws, Chop Saws, Tiger Saws, and CNC machines.

• Cut lumber and plywood accurately according to production drawings, cut lists, and specifications.

• Read and follow production drawings, cut lists, and work instructions.

• Measure and verify materials before cutting to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.

• Perform quality checks on materials and finished cuts.

• Maintain accurate dimensions and production standards throughout the cutting process.

• Follow all company safety procedures when operating machinery and handling materials.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy.

• Perform other manufacturing and cutting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in wood manufacturing is required.

• Previous experience working with lumber and plywood in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience operating Panel Saws, Beam Saws, Chop Saws, Tiger Saws, and CNC machines.

• Ability to read and understand production drawings and cut lists.

• Basic measuring and math skills.

• Strong attention to cut accuracy and quality.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a production team.

Compensation

$18–$21/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
