Sanitation Associate

As a Sanitation Associate, you will play a crucial role in upholding food safety standards by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, tools, and facility areas in compliance with all relevant food safety and regulatory guidelines.

Starting Pay: $17.75/hr + overtime opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize food production equipment, packaging and kitting machinery, surfaces, and cooking equipment

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout all work areas to ensure safety and compliance

• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including safety protocols, GMP, SQF, PPE, and hygiene policies

• Immediately report any food safety or sanitation concerns to supervisors

• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and other departments to address sanitation and food safety issues

• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals following safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• No previous experience necessary—training provided

• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

• Comfortable working in cold environments

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Note: This role involves exposure to the top 8 food allergens, including eggs, shellfish, fish, tree nuts, nuts, wheat, soy, and milk

Pay Details: $17.75 per hour
