Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a confidential manufacturing client to hire a Safety Specialist in the Marston, MO area.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing audits and reporting the effectiveness of the system safety program.
- Supporting streamlined operations and the development of new processes and protocol to ensure that all internal goals for safety, mission success, and performance are met.
- Developing implementation schedules and managing budgets for improvements.
- Briefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process.
- This position may include launch campaign support at remote launch sites both domestic and international.
- Exercises latitude in determine technical objectives of assignments, and make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
- Conduction incident investigations, determining root causes, driving corrective actions.
- Selecting appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
- Working with test and tactical operating and maintenance procedures to assure the proper administrative controls are in place.
- Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
- Implementing occupational safety programs and serve as EHS interface with business units.
This position offers:
- A base pay rate of $29/hr.
