Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Direct Hire Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Department: Medical-Surgical Pay Range: $32–$45 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. New graduates are welcome to apply! The Medical-Surgical RN provides safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize care effectively while managing multiple patients with varying needs. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients across a range of ages and diagnoses. Assess patient conditions, identify changes in status, and respond appropriately. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Monitor patient progress and communicate significant changes to physicians and other members of the care team. Safely care for multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Follow infection-control, safety, and hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications & Certifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required. PALS and NRP preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Ability to provide safe and effective care for multiple patients of varying ages and medical conditions. Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and prioritization skills. Ideal Candidate Compassionate and patient-focused. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
