Recruiter
Office, Clerical & Administrative
We're looking for an In-House Recruiter who understands that recruiting isn't just about filling jobs—it's about keeping operations running. In this role, you'll manage multiple active openings across general labor and light industrial positions, ensuring departments have the people they need when they need them.
This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who enjoys balancing urgency, candidate experience, and hiring manager expectations. You'll own the recruiting process from job posting through offer acceptance, managing approximately 5–10 active requisitions at any given time while building pipelines for ongoing hiring needs.
What You'll Do
Manage full-cycle recruitment for general labor, warehouse, production, manufacturing, and other hourly positions.
Partner directly with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, shift schedules, hiring timelines, and required skill sets.
Create and publish job advertisements that attract qualified candidates rather than simply generate applications.
Source candidates through job boards, company databases, employee referrals, social media, and local recruiting efforts.
Screen applicants through phone interviews and assess work history, attendance patterns, availability, and job fit.
Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring activities with supervisors and operational leaders.
Maintain a steady pipeline of candidates for recurring positions, even when current openings are filled.
Track recruiting activity and candidate movement through the applicant tracking system.
Follow up consistently with candidates to reduce interview no-shows and offer declines.
Work closely with onboarding teams to ensure new hires complete required documentation and begin work on schedule.
Provide hiring managers with realistic market feedback on candidate availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting challenges.
Monitor open requisitions and adjust recruiting strategies when positions remain unfilled longer than expected.
What Success Looks Like
Open positions are filled with qualified employees within targeted hiring timelines.
Hiring managers have clear visibility into candidate pipelines and recruiting progress.
Candidates receive timely communication throughout the hiring process.
Interview attendance and offer acceptance rates remain strong.
Recruiting efforts consistently produce talent pipelines for recurring staffing needs.
Production, warehouse, and operational teams experience fewer disruptions caused by staffing shortages.
New hires arrive prepared, onboard successfully, and remain employed beyond their initial training period.
What We're Looking For
Experience recruiting for high-volume hourly, general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, production, or light industrial positions.
Ability to manage 5–10 active requisitions simultaneously while maintaining candidate quality and response times.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar sourcing tools.
Comfortable working directly with frontline supervisors, operations leaders, and hiring managers.
Strong organization and follow-through skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build relationships quickly with candidates and hiring teams.
Knowledge of employment practices, recruiting compliance, and hiring documentation preferred.
