Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector position include but are not limited to:
- Inspect, test, and measure materials and accurately record inspection and test data
- Utilize measuring products like rulers, calipers, gauges, CMM, optical comparator, surface testers, or micrometers to meet quality standards
- Accept or reject products including tagging or identifying all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and drawings and written instructions
- Calibrate or verify test instruments
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Quality Inspector position:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MUST have 1 year of experience with measurement tools including common hand gages, micrometers, etc.
- Ability to calibrate and verify test instruments and keep detailed records REQUIRED
- Knowledge of computers and electronics
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact across multiple departments
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office
- Ability to problem solve with attention to detail
- 1 years of experience programming and operating a Direct Computer Controlled (DCC) CMM preferred
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified preferred
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
