1. Senior Quality Control Technician

   Location: Santa Clara, CA
   Pay Rate: $34.00–$35.00 per hour

   Position Overview

   We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Technician to support quality inspection and manufacturing operations at our Santa Clara facility. This role is responsible for inspecting preproduction materials and finished products, documenting nonconformances, maintaining quality records, and communicating inspection findings to manufacturing, purchasing, quality engineering, and leadership teams.

   The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of quality inspection and manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience with inspection tools, mechanical drawings, ERP systems, and manufacturing processes.

   Key Responsibilities

   • Perform accurate and timely quality inspections of preproduction materials and finished products.

   • Meet or exceed weekly inspection and lot requirements.

   • Review inspection priorities and complete assigned inspections according to production schedules.

   • Enter and transact inspection results and material information in ERP systems.

   • Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances.

   • Support material disposition through the Material Review Board (MRB) process when appropriate.

   • Communicate quality findings and issues promptly to manufacturing, purchasing, quality leadership, and other stakeholders.

   • Maintain, organize, and archive quality inspection records, reports, and metrics.

   • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and related projects.

   • Attend daily tier meetings, stage-gate reviews, staff meetings, and other quality/manufacturing meetings as required.

   • Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to establish inspection criteria and implement inspection procedures.

   • Assist with customer complaint investigations and corrective action activities.

   • Follow all established safety, health, business, and quality policies and procedures.

   • Perform additional duties and quality-related assignments as directed by the Quality Supervisor or Manager.

   Required Qualifications

   • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing assembly, or a related quality/manufacturing role.

   • Associate of Science degree, technology-related degree, or equivalent experience preferred.

   • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

   • Ability to read and follow written procedures, specifications, and work instructions.

   • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, and wiring schematics.

   • Hands-on experience using quality inspection equipment such as:

     • Microscopes

     • Calipers

     • Micrometers

     • Inspection gauges

     • Other precision measurement tools

   • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality inspection practices.

   • Experience with Agile PLM and ERP systems.

   • Strong computer skills, including:

     • Microsoft Excel

     • Microsoft Word

     • Microsoft Outlook

     • Microsoft Teams

   • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

   • Ability to accurately enter and maintain inspection data and material transactions.

   • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload based on production schedules and customer demand.

   • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with manufacturing and quality teams.

   • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent onsite attendance.

   Physical Requirements & Work Environment

   • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs.

   • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

   • Ability to frequently get down on the floor to inspect materials and products.

   • Ability to climb ladders when necessary.

   • Ability to stand for extended periods.

   • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.

   • Must be able to perform detailed visual inspections and use precision inspection equipment.

   Compensation

   $34.00–$35.00 per hour
