Purchaser

Adecco is hiring immediately for a Purchaser with a local client in Benicia, CA. Pay is $26.00/hr. - $27.50hr.  

Duties:

·       Create and manage POs (purchase orders) using MRP software; track shipments and resolve any delivery issues

·       Communicate with vendors regarding open orders, scheduling, and RFQs

·       Communicate with the appropriate departments/purchase requesters about order statuses, including any order delays or issues

·       Negotiate piercing, lead times, and terms with vendors

·       Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials

·       Buy items from our online vendors as required by our MRP (material requirement planning) software

·       Make weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on PO's

·       Work with the accounting department to research inaccuracies in receipts compared to invoices

·       Obtain RMAs from supplies and process DMR parts through the system

Qualifications:

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to multitask and set priorities according to current demands

·       Ability to deliver solutions under tight deadlines

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) or Google Doc/Sheets

·       Detailed oriented

·       Technical parts, knowledge, electronic components are a plus!
