Responsibilities for Project Manager include but are not limited to: 

·       Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

·       Develop project plans, schedules, forecasts, and resource requirements.

·       Lead project teams, facilitate meetings, and coordinate stakeholders.

·       Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.

·       Review contract proposals, bids, and project documentation.

·       Prepare and manage project financial forecasts, including monthly cash flows.

·       Interpret civil construction plans and oversee field activities, including site visits.

·       Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to leadership.

 

Candidates for Project Manager must meet the following requirements to be considered: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, Project Management, or a related field.

·       3+ years of project management experience.

·       Experience in utility, civil construction, or engineering projects, preferably utility relocation projects.

·       Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and plans.

·       Experience reviewing contractor bids and proposals.

·       Strong financial forecasting and budget management skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools.

·       Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·       PMP certification preferred; PE license is a plus.

·       Ability to travel throughout the West Suburban Illinois region for project site visits.

Pay Details: $64.87 per hour
