Adecco is hiring a Program Manager, Program Management – SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation (Operations) to support a multi-year enterprise transformation program. In this role, you’ll work within a Program Management Office (PMO) to help coordinate a portfolio of initiatives across Business Owners, SAP/IT teams, and third-party partners—primarily focused on Operations capabilities (Manufacturing, Maintenance Engineering, Warehouse, and Transportation Management).
This position is ideal for a program/portfolio professional who excels at connecting strategy to execution, driving cross-functional alignment, and improving portfolio visibility and readiness—without owning wave-level deployment delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Planning & Governance
Maintain and manage the overall transformation portfolio plan (sequencing, milestones, dependencies, risks), with strong emphasis on Operations workstreams and cross-process impacts.
Support intake, prioritization, and scope governance aligned to strategy and value drivers.
Ensure initiatives follow governance standards, stage gates, and decision frameworks.
Prepare executive-ready updates for steering committees and portfolio reviews.
Business Owner & Process Owner Engagement
Partner with Business Owners and Enterprise Process Owners to confirm objectives, scope, success measures, and decision ownership.
Build and track participation plans (in partnership with deployment/change/training leads); flag capacity constraints and engagement risks.
Support cross-functional alignment when priorities or dependencies conflict.
SAP / IT Coordination
Collaborate with SAP, Data, and IT teams to align business priorities with release planning and delivery sequencing.
Provide portfolio-level visibility into delivery progress, risks, and readiness impacts.
Help ensure integration across process, data, reporting, and technology considerations.
Third-Party / System Integrator Coordination
Coordinate at a portfolio level with system integrators and partners to align deliverables with governance standards and Supply Chain priorities.
Track partner-level dependencies, deliverables, and key risks; support issue escalation.
Business Readiness & Adoption
Coordinate readiness baselining, planning, and milestone tracking across initiatives.
Partner with Change, Training, Data, and Communications leads to align readiness activities.
Identify and escalate readiness risks related to timing, capacity, or adoption.
Risk, Dependency & Value Tracking
Maintain a portfolio-level view of risks, issues, and cross-initiative dependencies.
Support KPI and benefits tracking; help shift reporting from “tasks completed” to “capabilities delivered/outcomes achieved.”
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required)
8+ years of project/program management experience
3–5 years supporting SAP ERP transformation initiatives (ECC and/or S/4HANA), with a strong focus on Operations
Experience partnering with business leaders, IT teams, and system integrators
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes
Proven ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and readiness risks
Direct experience supporting Operations processes in an SAP environment (manufacturing, maintenance engineering, warehouse, transportation)
Preferred Candidate Attributes (Success Profile)
Integrator & orchestrator who connects strategy to execution across functions and vendors
Proactively risk-focused and strong in dependency management
Business-first mindset that prioritizes adoption and outcomes
Skilled at influencing without authority
Highly disciplined and detail-oriented—ensures leaders have a single, trusted “source of truth” in program reporting
