Manufacturing and Warehousing Technician - $18.90 HR Starting Wage

In this role you will make a nutritional product from scratch with a team of professionals.
Duties Include: Production, Cleaning, Shipping, Receiving, Packaging, Machinery Operation, Organize Materials, Maintain Clean Warehouse, Troubleshoot & Perform Routine Maintenance on Machinery, Communication with Team Members, Climbing platform stairs carrying product, Follow Food Safety Policies, Learn HACCP, Plant Quality, Plant GMP, GFSI Certification, Meet Performance Goals

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be able to accurately type and insert data into required forms.
• Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution, problem solving, time management, goal setting, and prioritization.
• Successful completion of all pre-employment background checks, drug screening and physical capacity assessments.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with staff.
• Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow the direction of all safety manuals, regulations, GMP’s, instructions, and recipes.
• Ability to adhere to HACCP principles, GMPs, quality assurance specifications, and approved formulations.
• Ability to effectively work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment and be held accountable for results with little supervision.
• Ability to multi-task effectively with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to think critically and use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift to Fifty (50) pounds, including above the head and push/pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds using tote dollies and platform trucks.
• Ability to climb steps on a frequent basis as well as stand on or move around on platforms, equipment and concrete floors.
• Ability to use hands and arms for reaching/handling purposes.
• Ability to perform frequent physical activities which require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, squatting, and bending while handling various materials.
• Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to tolerate exposure to food allergens.

Work Environment:

• Duties are performed in a professional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting or production/warehouse facility, depending on type of job duty performed.
• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and food allergens.
• Interaction with team members.
