Production Associate

Location: Portsmouth, VA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Summary

Adecco is hiring reliable and safety-conscious Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in Portsmouth, VA. This is a hands-on, contract-to-hire opportunity for individuals with industrial or manufacturing experience who are looking to grow their careers in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform routine equipment inspections and operational checks
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns
• Follow quality control standards and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production operations and complete assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial equipment experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime as required

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Work in varying environmental conditions within a production setting

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
