Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable Production Mechanic I to support manufacturing operations by performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and setting up plastic injection molds. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical maintenance experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on production equipment.

• Install, remove, clean, and prepare molds for production use.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support production during machine breakdowns.

• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.

• Maintain maintenance and repair records.

• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Experience troubleshooting machinery, motors, sensors, gear drives, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read and use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

• Basic computer skills; experience with downtime reporting systems is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
