Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Salary Range: $21/hr - $23/hr, commensurate with experience

Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm, On-Site

Location: Park Ridge, IL

Position Overview: 

Our client is seeking a motivated Office Assistant who competently understands and speaks Polish and English to join their team in Park Ridge, IL. The successful candidate will provide essential support to ensure efficient office operations while thriving in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with experience supporting a fast-moving office and providing administrative support, especially in a multi-lingual setting.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Provide general office support including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing mail.

- Maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems.

- Assist and advise owner and corporate partners on office operations and updates.

- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.

- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.

- Support accounting department as needed.

- Handle confidential information with discretion.

- Experience in a start-up, acquisition process, or other rapidly growing company is preferred.

Qualifications: 

- High school diploma required (Associate's degree preferred) 

- 1+ year of experience in a professional office environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment 

- Professional attitude and eagerness to learn 

- Ability to understand and speak Polish at a conversational level highly preferred
