Our Monroe client is seeking a skilled Plumber to join their team at a local correctional facility. This role offers a steady schedule, competitive pay, and the chance to grow your career in a vital trade.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full-time 

  • Pay: $29-34/hr (based on experience)

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems, drains, sewage, sprinkler, and steam systems.

  • Inspect and maintain plumbing components including backflows, fire hydrants, pumps, water heaters, valves, and pressure vessels.

  • Handle corrective and preventive maintenance for natural gas, fuel lines, and steam systems.

  • Assist other trades and coordinate with contractors as needed.

  • Respond to emergency repair calls, including after-hours when required.

  • Maintain logs and complete work orders promptly and professionally.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).

  • 1–3 years’ experience in plumbing maintenance/repair.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, repair methods, safety precautions, and tool use.

  • Ability to read and work from blueprints/schematics.

  • Licensing in applicable trade/jurisdiction preferred.

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a correctional facility environment.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
