Adecco Healthcare is partnering with a leading home health provider to identify a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join their growing team serving communities throughout Northern California.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide one-on-one patient care in the home while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary healthcare team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment services in a home health setting. This role implements individualized care plans, monitors patient progress, educates patients and caregivers, and communicates clinical findings to the supervising Physical Therapist and physician to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.

• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the Physical Therapist and physician.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and proper use of medical equipment.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Travel throughout the assigned coverage area to provide in-home patient visits.

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

• Current California Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing.

• Current CPR certification.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.

• Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills.

• Home Health experience is a plus but qualified candidates from other clinical settings are encouraged to apply.

Pay Details: $93,920.45 to $114,791.66 per year
