Physical Therapist

Staff Physical Therapist Pay Range: $36.00–$54.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time Location: New Hampshire Schedule: No weekends or holidays On-Call: None Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services to patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, complex medical, and other conditions affecting strength, range of motion, endurance, mobility, and overall functional ability. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans and utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, functional activities, and other evidence-based interventions to help patients achieve the highest level of independence and function possible. Essential Responsibilities Evaluate patients to identify physical impairments, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, diagnoses, goals, and functional abilities. Provide physical therapy interventions designed to improve strength, range of motion, endurance, mobility, balance, and overall function. Utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, functional activities, and other appropriate treatment techniques. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, exercises, home programs, and strategies to maximize functional outcomes. Document evaluations, treatments, patient progress, and discharge information accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status and treatment recommendations. Promote patient safety throughout all aspects of care. Maintain professional standards and comply with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and respect when interacting with patients, families, coworkers, and other members of the healthcare team. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to support optimal patient outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned. Patient Population The Physical Therapist may provide care to patients with a variety of conditions, including: Orthopedic diagnoses Neurological conditions Complex medical conditions Musculoskeletal impairments Reduced strength and range of motion Decreased endurance Mobility and functional limitations Required Qualifications Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-accredited physical therapy program. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's degree preferred. Current and valid New Hampshire Physical Therapy license issued by the Office of Allied Health Professions. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to patient-centered care and safety. Compensation $36.00–$54.00 per hour Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and applicable organizational pay practices.
