Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Phlebotomist in Chelmsford, Massachusetts! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Three-month contract with opportunity for extension!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 4pm
Pay: $22.30 to $24.30 an hour
Responsibilities of the Phlebotomist:
· Draw blood from pediatric patient population.
· Performing venipuncture/capillary blood collection procedures.
· Process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures.
· Ensure proper labeling, handling, and processing of laboratory specimens
· Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and rooming patients
· Support providers with clinical and administrative tasks as needed
· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
· Provide outstanding patient service with a warm, professional demeanor
Qualifications for the Phlebotomist:
· HS Diploma or GED
· Graduate of a phlebotomy training program preferred
· 1 year of phlebotomy experience
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $22.30 to $24.30 per hour
