Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Pharmacy Technicians in San Luis Obispo, California! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and reply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: 13-week contract
Schedule: Nights needed, 7 on, 7 off OR 4x10s
Pay: $30 to $35 an hour
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:
Pulls medications from stock and matches medications with the corresponding label generated by the pharmacist involved with entry of medication orders into the patient’s computer-generated profile in an accurate manner.
Maintains floor stock (restocking, removal of expired medications, rotate stock) of nursing areas and other medication areas.
Prices and stocks in-coming deliveries.
Prepares IV medication products within the guidelines of applicable laws and regulations.
Checks in orders from wholesalers and suppliers.
Distributes appropriately the stock and file paperwork; processes returns and back orders in a timely manner.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA
Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected
Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Pharmacy Technician:
• High school diploma or GED, Associates degree preferred
• Active and good standing pharmacy technician license in CA
• Five years of hospital experience
• Sterile compounding experience required

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
