Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Charlotte, North Carolina! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type:                    Four-month contract, opportunity for extension or full-time offer!
Schedule:         Sunday through Thursday, 3pm to 11:30pm. Occasional mandatory overtime and Saturday shift

Pay:                       $23.00 to $25.50 an hour
               
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

·         Duties related to the creation / routing of pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions.

·         Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, submit prescription orders in computer system.

·         May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details.

·         Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist

·         Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure

·         Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed during low volume times

·         Packages materials and products manually

·         Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected

·         Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.

·         Other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications of the Pharmacy Technician:

·              High school diploma or GED

·              Active and good standing pharmacy technician license in North Carolina

·              CPhT through PTCB

·              Ability to lift 25 pounds

·              Ability to stand / move around for entirety of shift

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.50 per hour
