Schedule (1st Shift):
Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
Job Summary
a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join the team at McKesson. In this role, you will support licensed pharmacists in a fast-paced environment by ensuring accurate medication dispensing, maintaining inventory, and complying with all pharmacy regulations. This is a fully onsite position with strong potential to convert to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing:
Prepare, label, and package prescription medications
Measure and count medications accurately per prescription orders
Replenish automated dispensing systems with medication stock
Ensure proper labeling and usage instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and rotate inventory to prevent expiration
Assist with inventory tracking and replenishment
Compliance & Documentation:
Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Support documentation and record-keeping processes
Required Qualifications
Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (or national certification)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous pharmacy or related experience
Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
Basic math, reading, and writing skills

Screening Requirements
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jeffersonville, IN
Must hold an active pharmacy technician license
