Schedule (1st Shift):

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

• Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  Employment Type: Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

Job Summary

a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join the team at McKesson. In this role, you will support licensed pharmacists in a fast-paced environment by ensuring accurate medication dispensing, maintaining inventory, and complying with all pharmacy regulations. This is a fully onsite position with strong potential to convert to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

Medication Dispensing:

• Prepare, label, and package prescription medications

• Measure and count medications accurately per prescription orders

• Replenish automated dispensing systems with medication stock

• Ensure proper labeling and usage instructions

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels and rotate inventory to prevent expiration

• Assist with inventory tracking and replenishment

Compliance & Documentation:

• Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

• Support documentation and record-keeping processes

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (or national certification)

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Previous pharmacy or related experience

• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills

Screening Requirements

• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jeffersonville, IN

• Must hold an active pharmacy technician license

• Must be able to work onsite (no remote or hybrid option)

Pay Details: $18.95 per hour
