💰 $22/hour

📍 Location: Cary, NC

🕒 Training Schedule (Onsite):

• Monday-Friday

• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Training typically lasts several months

Regular Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

• 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

• Hybrid schedule available after successful training

What You'll Do

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in the prescription intake and referral process, ensuring patients receive timely access to specialty medications.

Responsibilities:

• Review referrals for accuracy and completeness

• Create and maintain patient profiles by entering patient and provider information

• Perform initial prescription reviews for processing accuracy

• Read and interpret clinic notes, patient charts, and prescription documentation

• Communicate with healthcare providers regarding prescription clarifications, missing information, referral status, and patient concerns

• Accurately document and update referral progress notes

• Enter provider information, including National Provider Identifiers (NPIs)

• Support pharmacy operations through accurate and timely data entry

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

✔ Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification with no restrictions

✔ Registered with the Board of Pharmacy

✔ Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting

✔ High School Diploma or GED

✔ Strong data entry and computer skills

✔ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

✔ Ability to interpret patient charts, clinical notes, and prescription information

✔ Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

⭐ 2+ years of pharmacy or healthcare experience

⭐ Experience in specialty pharmacy environments

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
